Welcome to the newest club in town!! We officially became a Rotary Club as of July 1, 2004. We are very excited to be here! Rochester Deaf Rotary is the first deaf-based club among 66 Rotary clubs clustered in this region. This new club serves the Greater Rochester area, from the young to seniors, with several community service projects throughout the year. |
Who can join? Anyone who is deaf, hard of hearing, an interpreter or connected with Deaf culture in anyway. There are no special requirements to join this unique Rotary club; just a need to be dedicated, with a sincere willingness to serve, and more importantly, have fun doing it. Dinner meetings are always open, and guests are strongly encouraged to come. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us an email at info@deafrotary.org. |
We meet at the Alpha Lutheran Church of the Deaf located at 1969 S. Clinton Ave, across the street from Loehman’s Plaza. Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6PM sharp. Come one, come all, and find out what we’re about. |
